THE ULTIMATE SUMMER WISHLIST: GIFTS FOR HER #AD

I'm a through and through a summer kid. Born under Leo in the middle of August, I know what I like and work hard to get it. It may be difficult to buy for me, but in truth, I am happy with any little gift. Today I'd like to share with you the dream wishlist for my upcoming 32nd birthday. Yes, I know it's months away, but I like to plan my (and others lol) shopping ahead!

Many stores, like L'Occitane, offer gifts for her option on their websites, suggesting edits for many occasions including birthdays. I adore L'Occiatane hand creams and most recently fell in love with one of their fragrances Thé Vert & Bigarade. It reminds me of the summer so much with notes of citrus and green tea, so refreshing in warmer temperatures. I'd love to try more of their Petite Grasse Fragrance Collection* which includes three deluxe samples (7.5ml each) of Néroli & Orchidée, Thé Vert & Bigarade and Jasmin & Bergamote eau de toilette. It's such a great value for money and allows you to try 3 incredible fragrances all below £20.00 mark.

On the subject of fruity perfumes with the strong floral lead, I cannot mention the most amazing fragrance I have tried recently. It's so pricey, I'm not sure if I'll be able to treat myself to it anytime soon, but the scent follows me anywhere. I was kindly sent some testers and I'm lost in the sensory overload of Clive Christian Cosmos Flower. With the notes of mandarin, cosmos flower, cocoa, jasmine and plum, it tells a sensuous story. It's an evening scent, one you'd wear for a date or an evening in the theatre. Luxurious packaging comes at a steep price, but I'm very tempted to treat myself to this sexy perfume for my birthday!

Anyone who knows me knows I love skincare and if skincare tries to meet the strobing trend I'll be all over it. I desperately want to try the new Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturiser which just launched in three amazing sheer shades. I am very torn between a Pearl Glow and Nude Glow but just can't justify the price to buy both. I have loved Glamglow since the moment I first used their Youth Mud Mask, which holds the crown still in my opinion. I like seeing more variety in their new releases.

Staying on the subject of ultimate glow, I am very tempted by the Tata Harper The Luminous Glow Collection which includes all their bestsellers in deluxe sample format. I'm most tempted to try the Resurfacing Mask which acts as an all in one facial kit by brightening and smoothing the complexion. I feel like trying minis is brilliant with the expensive brands as it allows you to form the opinion before splurging on a full-size product.

In the summer I am most likely to..? SPF and SPF some more. I tend to go for high SPF formulas and  L'Occitane Reine Blanche Illuminating UV Shield ticks all the boxes for me. SPF50? Check. Brightening and illuminating? Check. This all in one will not only protects the complexion against harmful UV rays, prevents uneven skin tone, protects against external aggressors as well as promote a clearer complexion. Enriched with Reine des Prés, the naturally white flower known for its lightening properties, which contains salicylic acid helping skin achieve the natural luminosity. Don't forget to take advantage of complimentary gift wrapping, which makes birthday shopping even more of a breeze.

My love for candles have no boundaries and what better present there is than a beautiful luxury candle (hinting here much my loved ones!). I have never tried Diptique so my need level is of the charts. If I had to choose my first one, it would be Diptique Baies with the notes of blackcurrant and rose mixed together. I can already imagine it, summer evening with a great book and amazing smelling candle - bliss!

Shorter hair, don't care have been a motto of mine recently. But I do care, especially now in summer when I need to wash it every day to look even remotely ok. Enter the magic of dry shampoos. Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam is definitely one for the wishlist books. This dry foam not only cleans the hair in an instant, doesn't mattify or leave a white residue. Plus it meant to volumise too, which is a must for me.

Even on hot days, I don't tend to go very bare-faced. I find that SPF works better if layered, so I tend to opt for tinted moisturisers/bb creams in summer. There's, of course, my favourite Complexion Rescue but I'd love to venture out and my dream one is Chantecaille Tinted Moisturiser in Alabaster. It's quite expensive and usually, I can't justify it, but given my big birthday is coming in less than two months, I may just have to treat myself.

I have been a firm lover of all things Becca for years now. With the launch of their new primer, I feel it's exactly what I'm looking for right now. My skin turns a lot shinier in summer months and the original primer works better for me in colder months. Becca First Light Priming Filter promises subtle glow from within look and I hope I'll get to try it soon.

Not all of me craves beauty at all times. I also love a good blogger cliche homeware and this faceted Oliver Bonas Marble & Copper Lazy Susan suits my aesthetic well. I'd put the spinning function to use not during a dinner party but to better showcase my cacti collection. It's all in the works kids, now I just need to get me one of Lazy Susans pronto!

What's currently on your wishlist my beauties?
