Let's face it, wearing gloss whatever its price won't make a difference. An eye gloss will crease and smudge. There are ways to cheat the system and easiest and most convenient options are foiled eyeshadows. The formula of a foil when applied correctly allows you to achieve the almost wet metallic look that will last the day or night. Say what you want about the new launch from the creators of Love Me Beauty but Phase Zero Makeup is back to shake things up again. I’ve been testing their new liquid eyeshadow formula for a while & I’m here to have my say. Was it love from the first swipe then? 

LOVE ME BEAUTY FOR CHRISTMAS - WHAT'S HIDDEN IN MY DECEMBER BOX?

Love Me Beauty doesn't disappoint with strong 4th month being a December box for me. I loved all my previous boxes and you check out September, October and November boxes here. I love there's always luxury skincare and makeup samples to choose from. This months makeup was a courtesy of Laura Mercier and skincare followed with likes of Caudalie, Merumaya and Aromatherapy Associates, as well as OPI, EcoTools and more.

Love Me Beauty subscription costs £10 per month plus P&P. You get 60 points to spend on your beauty picks. For example Caudalie bits were between 10-15 points. I'll start with makeup bits I choose this month as they came so beautifully packed, I just can't even...!!! I jumped on the Laura Mercier samples as I knew they'd be the first to go and Oh My, they didn't disappoint. The very first thing I picked up was a mini Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Tuxedo. I wish there were more colours to choose from as I've heard so many great things about it. It's basically a stick eyeshadow in matte black. When I swatched it on the back of my hand it stayed put for hours so I'm expecting great things. It does set pretty quick so if you're planning to use it as a base for your shadows, ensure to be quick in blending it out, as when it sets, that's it! Second up was a mascara with the longest name in the history of makeup. LM Full Blown Volume Supreme Lash Building Mascara in Black (Did I lie??? LOL) which is a decent 5.7ml size sample. I don't want to open it up as I have few mascaras on the go now, but I'm expecting miracles as the name suggests ;) Lastly I grabbed LM Lip Glace in Pink Pop. I don't really wear lip glosses but I thought it would make a great stocking filler, it's so damn pretty!

I wanted to try Caudalie skincare for ages, so I was happy to see the brand in this months selection. I picked up three products and I'm super excited to try them out. I love a good micellar water and never have one in sample size, so I jumped on occasion to try a new Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water. I will give it a whirl tonight to see how it works and compares to other brands I've tried, but I'll be keeping it mostly for overnight stays and travel. I also managed to grab their Moisturising Mask, which promises to moisturise and soothe, which are two most important aspects I look for in hydrating masks. I have high hopes, but will wait with testing until I finish at least couple of masks I currently have on the go! Lastly I picked up a decent sized (10ml) Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum. I'm forever looking for the perfect serums and have heard so many praises regarding this one, I can't wait to try it. My fave from Noxidoxi is nearing its end, so this will be it's replacement. I also had a sample of this previously, so now have two to play and properly test. Let's hope it'll be as amazing as the name suggests.

I wanted to try Aromatherephy Associates for a while now, as I previously tested their bath oil and it was bloody amazing! I didn't like the look of most samples on offer, other than the Hydrating Rose Skin Tonic. I love a good toner, I never skip this step, so I'm really looking forward to trying this one out, once I'm done with my current morning toner. 

I also received a bar of Gnaw Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate. I think it was just an extra from Love Me Beauty as it is Christmas soon and I honestly can't imagine more delicious combination than peanut butter and mil chocolate. This one's made of all natural ingredients too so I'm looking forward to giving it a taste :)

This month Love Me Beauty treated us to a huge selection of Eco Tools brushes. I haven't tried them yet, so I jumped on the offer and picked up few brushes to test! I now own 4 great new brushes and I honestly like using them! I've picked up 1305 Blending and Bronzing Brush and it is my definite winer! It's a duo fiber brush and absolutely stunning to use to powder down the face, apply powder foundation, bronzers & blushers. I use it for my powder foundation mostly but also for bronzer and I love it. I also picked 1306 Precision Blush and this is the one for contour needs for me. It's unusual shape makes it perfect to fit the contour just below the cheekbones and on the temples. Both brushes are super soft and I haven't experienced any shedding yet! I also picked up Eye Blending set, which is a set of 2 double ended eye brushes. Yet again they are soft and quite dense. It's a real gem for your travel makeup bag. They are all you need to apply eye makeup. I don't love them more than my Sigma or Brush blending brushes but they are firmly up there on Zoeva level. I especially like the side to apply the eyeshadow as it's dense and packs the product in nicely. Also the mini shader brush is great to smudge out the eyeliner and for bottom lash line. I also picked up Makeup Brush Cleasing Cloths which is such a great idea I haven't seen anywhere else. Makes cleansing your brushes on the go such an easy and painless task. You get 40 sheets and I think they work ok. It won't replace washing your brushes, but it's a great every day tool.

I also grabbed couple of skincare samples. I was lucky enough to attend a Bare Minerals event at Selfridges couple of months ago and try their Skin Longevity Serum, so when I saw it available on Love Me Beauty, I jumped on the bandwagon to get it. I haven't tested it yet, as I have too many serums on the go at the moment, but once I do, I'm sure to report back here or in my Instagram mini reviews. I also picked up a Exuviance Purrifying Clay Masque to add to my multitasking rituals. I think a good cleansing clay mask is a must for my chin, which is the only problematic area for me and I love finding ones that actually work at driving the impurities out. I have high hopes for this product so don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Snapchat where I always review masks live!

I grabbed one shade of OPI Nail Lacquer as I've been off shellacs for a while now and I'm back to testing various nail polish brands. I adore the shade and I must fight over it with my Mom as she is eyeing it every time, so I'm worried it'll 'disappear' one day. I am watching you closely Mom! Lol

When I was contacted by the brand to review and share with you this new subscription box I said yes as I really like jewellery. I rarely buy anything other than silver, gold and rose gold as I find the pure metals to be the lasting memories but I also like to change up my jewellery and obviously can't afford a jewellery box of a Hollywood star. This box costs only £10.90 and has Free World Wide Delivery. You get 3 jewellery pieces plus free Flash Tattoos. You pay monthly but you choose to either buy or pass as it's not a true subscription. I find the idea super cute and when it arrived it was packaged in a bubbly envelope with all pieces packaged separately in small plastic bags with a brand logo.

I've received a bracelet, a necklace and earrings plus some flash tattoos. If you follow me on my socials you've seen me wear them and I really think they're stunning. I got so many compliments at work for the necklace and the earrings but I really love the bracelet as it compliments my Pandora one so well. Have a look for yourself and see if you like them as much as I do. I rarely wear earrings so it's one piece I won't be wearing too much, only on occasion but the bracelet and a necklace has stolen my heart.
