OILGASM IN A BOTTLE?

Rå Oils Eternal Radiance

There are some skincare products that make you rethink your whole life after a single application. Ones that make you purr and achieve the best oilgasm of your life (you had to read that twice didn’t you, you dirty lot!). When I was first contacted about RÅ Oils Eternal Radiance*, it made me oilgasm just a little too - just look at that minimalistic packaging! Having a quick look at the website confirmed, that it’s one brand I need to get behind now because it’s going to get huge, trust me. And if you’re into great quality ingredients that speak for themselves, well then - you've come to the right place!

If simply a name RÅ Oils Eternal Radiance doesn’t make you want to stock up, are we even friends? On another hand, something that promises me the eternal glow must be a marketing trick, right? I can hear the haters going: 'yeah right another oil but I don’t like oils'. If you haven’t tried oils in your skincare yet, I don’t know if there’s a better way to get into this skin-loving habit. Oils are for everyone and if someone tells you otherwise, well - get a second opinion!

Rå Oils Eternal Radiance

To deliver on such promise isn’t easy. This Icelandic-born brand hasn’t gone after big bucks but instead decided to deliver the ultimate quality in every bottle. Eco-friendly packaging hosts only naturally derived ingredients that are mixed handmade in small batches to ensure you only ever get the best for your money. The products sit firmly in medium to high price category but what you’re buying is not only quality vegan ingredients but also the philosophy to match. It feels different than mainstream brands and yes, it feels better. I don’t know about you but I rather spend my hard earned money on one step to glow high-quality facial oil that tries to minimalise its impact on our beautiful planet than elsewhere, where morals are perhaps harder to find.

Amber drops of Rå Oils Eternal Radiance

3 drops are all one needs to feed the skin a cocktail of quality natural oils such as rosehip fruit, evening primrose and almond kernel, alongside vitamin E, frankincense, myrrh and geranium essential oils. Let’s concentrate on natural oils first. I’m already a huge fan of rosehip oil - write about rose centered ingredients here, so this one needs no extra introduction. Extracted by cold-pressing and squeezing out the gold star oil from rosehips and its seeds, the healing properties come from its chemical structure. Packed with essential fatty acids such as an oleic, palmitic, linoleic and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and vitamin F it allows cell regeneration once absorbed by the skin. Told you it’s fantastic! The ultimate source of vitamin C also helps protect skin from environmental damage while reducing the effects of damage already done. Vitamins C and A stimulate collagen production while antioxidants are able to penetrate deeper than most thanks to the chemical structure of rosehip oil. It will also protect you from age spots, is easy on eczema and helps minimalise acne scarring. I could go on but you get the gist!

Rå Oils Eternal Radiance

If you’ve ever used and loved Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery oil, you are well versed in the benefits of adding evening primrose oil to your skincare routine. I won’t dwell on it too much. Taken orally the oil can help control eczema, psoriasis and acne but it can also be used topically to treat these conditions as well. Evening primrose also has strong antioxidant properties that help prevent environmental damage and in turn prevent the formation of wrinkles. If there was ever a time to start racking in the benefits of age prevention it is before wrinkles form from all the little fine lines you might have started to see. Lastly, my multi-use hero almond oil is incredible at keeping skin’s cells happy, further protect from UV damage and keeps skin soft and healthy. Thanks to fatty acids, skin's ability to retain moisture is restored. It will help even most chapped and irritated skin thanks to the additional soothing properties.

Some vary of the use of essential oils as these can enrage sensitive skin. I apply a rule of a thumb here. If it doesn’t bother my skin and increase levels of sensitivity - I’m good, especially given some have proven cosmetic benefits. In fact, 3 essential oils in RÅ Oils Eternal Radiance* have been used for centuries with a fantastic track record. Let’s chat about them a little, shall we? Frankincense oil works as a powerful astringent by reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and combats loss of firmness and visibly lifts the skin. Myrrh oil is commonly known (alongside gold and frankincense) to be one of the gifts wise men brought to baby Jesus if you believe that kind of stuff. It’s quite funny that all these millenniums later, we now use these essential oils and metals in cosmetics to prolong the youthful appearance of skin - coincidence? Both primarily actives found in myrrh: terpenoids and sesquiterpenes have proven anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Perfect for problematic skin with its antibacterial and antifungal properties, it’s also known to prevent ageing (used by Egyptians in such manner), soothe and increase moisturising benefits of other ingredients it’s mixed with. Another powerful essential oil comes in a shape of geranium oil. Already known in Ancient Egypt to promote radiant and healthy skin. Now commonly used to battle acne, reduce inflammation, soothe and even lessen fatigue thanks to its aromatherapy uses. This sweet-scented oil helps uplift mood and was one that my doctor recommended for home use when the anxiety hits!

Rå Oils Eternal Radiance

Science lesson over, RÅ Oils Eternal Radiance* is a fantastic choice for both morning and evening use. I personally use it in the morning where just a few drops can transform my skin. If you ever check out my Instagram Stories I often show my routine there so you can see how glowing my skin gets after a single use. Now that I’ve used it repeatedly for a few weeks, I don’t know how I’ve been without it. While the ingredients may not be revolutionary but the formula created by the brand simply works a little better than ones I’ve used previously. It wholeheartedly deserves its name, let me leave it at that.

And now you can try it for yourself.. RÅ Oils Eternal Radiance* is now available from Cult Beauty for £65 for 30ml or £85 for 50ml.

Thank You For Reading.

    1. Oilgasm is the one! I really enjoy the formula, it may be the exact percentage they mix in but the oil gives me an instant shot of healthy glow and sinks in instantly. Great to wear under both SPF and makeup too! X
