THE SCENT AS UNIQUE AS YOU

Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 review

Rarely you see me discussing scents here on the blog, even less you see a fully dedicated review to one. I haven’t experienced a scent yet that I found weird at first yet had the most incredible journey with. I took my time with it, I learnt it and after months of using it almost exclusively, I come to you with a special review of Escentric Molecules Molecule One. A new way to perfume, one that’s almost impossible to get right, yet so unique, it’s hard to put away.

Escentric Molecules Molecule 01* is a generic unisex cologne. It concentrates on a single molecule - ISO E Super in a scent designed to maximise its potency. It also contains notes of fresh musk, lime peel, green jasmine bud, orris and balsamic notes. You can find it in 30ml travel bottle cleverly hidden in the heavy multi-use metal container, also available as a refill or 100ml with prices spreading from £36 to £72. Not the most premium of scents, yet worth it more than many designer fragrances I’ve tried.

The designer behind the scent wanted to create ‘something unconventional, not too perfumistic' and it’s clear she has managed it well. It’s not a scent that will grab you at first
, well at least that wasn't a case for me. It takes time to fully develop and on me, it disappears completely or so I have convinced myself until I wore it to work once. Having people comment on your perfume in the morning isn’t uncommon but for them to stop you after 12+ hours of wearing a scent that you don’t feel on yourself is pretty cool!

Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 review

At first, it’s super fresh and almost instantly sinks in. It feels light, it’s not feminine or masculine. The perfect unisex with a scent that sits firmly in the middle. The magic happens the moment the scent has an hour or so to develop. At this point, I can very faintly smell it. It’s delicate, still fresh and musky. I can’t quite describe it. I’ve asked friends who told me, I smell super fresh, summery and almost sweet yet not sweet at all. On others, I find this scent either to develop into something little more musky and warm, or fresh and cooler. It’s never quite the same on anyone. My best friend keeps commenting that it’s something so daring, so light and unusual that she can’t quite pinpoint why but she’s attracted to it as if it had accentuated my own scent.

If you’re looking for the utmost unique experience, the scent that will last for 16 hours yet won’t overpower you at any time, Escentric Molecules Molecule 01* isn’t something you should miss out on! Try it for yourself, share it with your boyfriend/girlfriend or with your friends and discover the true magic behind Molecule 01. At the price starting at only £36, it’s almost rude not to and I’m yet to find a person whom I shared it with, not to enjoy this fragrance.
