Christmas is already around the corner and the time has come for showing you the best picks for any beauty lover for Christmas 2020. If you're into makeup or skincare, I have some incredible, yet budget Queen-friendly gifts and stocking fillers for you, your family and friends. Christmas may be a bit different for all of us this year, but that's not the reason not to get some holiday cheer going on.

I don't know about you, but my mental health took a bit of a step back this year. On one side, working from home made managing chronic pain easier, but on another bring the worst out of my health-driven anxiety. You win some, you lose some. So when a Mindfulness diary showed up on my doorstep, I thought it was a great idea to concentrate on practising gratefulness and mindfulness every day. You can grab it for only £12 at Paperchase. It will make a wonderful gift to someone close who you think may benefit from a little self-care journalling.

When I think of self-care and taking some me-time, at-home facial comes to mind. Whatever your budget, you can grab some fabulous skincare sets to help you relax, and care for your skin all at the same time. Seoulista has a lot of Let it Glow sets to keep you occupied on a cosy winter night. My personal pick Snow Splash consists of my absolute face Super Hydration sheet mask (read more here) as well as Rosy Hands and Rosy Toes for a true Christmas Day pamper. There are other versions available, with different face sheets to suit your needs. The sets are available from their website, as well as Boots and Look Fantastic, wherever you choose to shop this holiday and at just over £20, they won't break the bank either.

Another cute do it at home set comes from the Pixi Beauty. The Let's Glow set of 4 travel-size fan favourites is only £20 and it will allow you to pamper for a whole Christmas break if you'd like to. Perfect for a Pixi fan friend or family member, or a great way to explore the staples from the brand. Featuring Glow Mud Cleanser, Glow Mud Mask, Glow Tonic, and even some Glow Tonic Cleansing Cloths it's a perfect little reminder that you're thinking of them, if from afar if they're not in your bubble. Available here.

For K-Beauty fans, my friends at Tonic15 came through with mini skincare sets. Currently, on offer for only £9.10, the set comes with my 2 absolute heroes: I'm From Honey Mask and Dr Ceuracle Royal Vita Propolis Anti-Oxidant Mask. I adore both, Honey Mask has been my go-to for mood-uplifting properties and if you like honey, it's truly the one. And who doesn't like to occasionally relax with a juicy hydrating sheet mask? I know I do and at this price, you really can't go wrong! Grab yours here.

If 2020 taught us anything is to really care for our basic beauty needs at home. With lockdowns and different tier restrictions, we never know if we can grab that last-minute appointment, and brands have listened. For a lover of white teeth, the drugstore favourite Beverly Hills Formula came out with an Advanced 2-in1 Whitening Kit. It costs only £25 and offers fantastic results without the need of booking a dentist. Get up to 6 shades whiter teeth with their whitening strips and touch up on-the-go pen. I've been using whitening strips for years now and once a week treatment can really help maintain those pearly whites. Grab it here.

For fans of derma planning who might have not been able to see their facialists as often as they'd like this year there's now at-home alternative by Hollywood Browzer. I've been 'shaving' my face for over a year now, and tried many, but Browzer always comes on top as it keeps sharp a lot longer than other I've tried. Grab it for yourself or a friend with 20% off any purchase on their site here.

Candles can be expensive, but thankfully there are some luxury picks that won't break the bank like the Light by Aromaworks range. My fave, the Basil & Lime candle costs £13.99 and will make any citric scent candle lover very happy. Zingy and sweet, the scent is so uplifting, just perfect for those gloomy days. Buy here.

Skincare brands have been busy coming with mini-sets, perfect for those last-minute stock filler needs. There a mini trio of Pixi toners available now for only £20 and featuring their 3 bestselling formulas: Glow Tonic, Milky Tonic and Retinol Tonic. Or maybe, you'd like to venture out. Ark Skincare has some fabulous mini gift sets available from only £15 each and featuring some fantastic skincare in travel sizes, a perfect way to discover something new this holiday season. Available here.

And if you're an avid skincare fanatic but want to learn more, the Caroline Skincare: The Ultimate No-Nonsense Guide is a summary of Caroline's decades of experience in the skincare industry in an easy to absorb form. A perfect gift to a teen in need of discovering his/her skincare routine, your friend, girl or boyfriend, mom and practically anyone who loves their skin and wants to treat it well. Now half price on Amazon and at £10 a pop it's a steal.

Want a little luxury makeup gift but don't want to take out a loan to do it? These brands have you sorted! From Too Faced mini Gingerbread Spice or Salted Caramel Mini palettes featuring most coveted shades at only £22 a pop, you really can't go wrong. The super cute packaging begs to find itself under someone's tree this Christmas. Available at Boots and Cult Beauty. Or maybe go for an ultimate high-end pressie and gift your bestie, daughter or mom their first Natasha Denona eyeshadow? Now available in 5-shadow mini palettes at £22 each they will make a truly wonderful gift. Lots to choose from too, as the brand seems to be releasing them more often now. Grab yours at Cult Beauty or Look Fantastic

If there's ever a true essential makeup everyone would be happy to receive, makeup fan or not is mascara and Eyeko comes through with their Charming Trio featuring 2 travel sizes of their bestselling formulas: Lash Alert! and Black Magic mascaras alongside Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner for that perfect flick all day every day. At £20, it comes with a very cute makeup bag too. And there's a 3 for 2 sales on their website now, with many gift sets available. Or maybe grab a travel size of the brand new Too Faced Damn Girl Mascara Ornament, so proudly displayed on my mini bedroom Christmas tree :) Honestly, it's too cute to open and only £12! Available from Boots and Cult Beauty.

KVD Vegan Beauty has released some cute Christmas sets too, Vegan Beloved Bestsellers really got my attention. Priced at £30 it may be the most expensive gift set, but you get what you pay for and more. With full-size Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita, Cake Pencil Eyeliner in Trooper Black, Kitten Mini Tattoo Liner in Trooper Black and Kitten Mini Go Big or Go Home Volumizing Mascara. I am yet to try the cake pencil, but I'm already a fan of other formulas with KVD Vegan Beauty liquid lippies being my top liquid lip formula for ages now.

Back to K-Beauty, we go and if you have a lipstick fan and Korean makeup lover in your close circle, they will love you forever for the introduction to the brand new GesGep Cotton Lips. A non-drying opaque formula glides on and stays put all day without feeling heavy or drying out your lips. I fell for a few shades already and you can grab a shade or 3 for only £13.60 (from £16) with my code BDQBLOG on Tonic15 now.
