Beauty addict Christmas gift guide (under £50)

Birmingham, UK

**********This post contains mostly gifted items. Gifted mentions may also be present. All links used are affiliate.**********

This Christmas may look and feel a little different but let's not let it. I don't know about you but nothing gives me more pleasure than gifting some perfect pressies to my friends and family, so why not do this year too, and find a beautiful gift for your closed ones. I posted a budget-friendly version yesterday, and today we're going mid-price and focusing on pretty makeup and self-care perfect skincare. If that sounds like something you'd enjoy than keep on reading.

I'm a huge bath lover and love getting and giving bath appropriate gifts. And a bath should be a sensory experience, so light a candle, add a little nourishing bath oil, lay back and relax. Espa Fortifying Bath Oil* promotes inner peace and has a very invigorating scent that helps me forget about my troubles even if it is for an hour. And with likes of coconut, soybean, sweet almond, avocado, carrot and sunflower oils as well as some essential oil blend (lavender, tea tree and eucalyptus it won't just fix your mood but also help nourish your skin as you soak. Part of Fortifying range, there's also a body oil and mineral salts available. Grab it here for £34. There's no bath for me unless it's with a glass of Chianti and a candle and the Temple SPA. Siesta Forever candle* is infused with lavender, petitgrain, geranium, frankincense, chamomile, myrrh, black pepper, dill and patchouli it will make a perfect companion to the bath oil. It's quite exquisite and SPA-like and at £25, not that expensive.

Whenever I opt for a long bath, I make sure to do a little hair care whilst I'm soaking. The Beigic Damage Repair Treatment Mask* is K-beauty luxurious hair treatment that not only smells insane but leaves my hair soft and silky without weighing it down. Gorgeous glass packaging with minimalistic design will make any luxury beauty lover very happy. At £34 it's not quite as expensive as some others but it's really worth every penny. Get it for £28.90 with my code: BDQBLOG on Tonic15.

Luxury body care makes for a very special Christmas gift that pretty much anyone can enjoy but a true beauty addicts will definitely appreciate. Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Body Oil* is a stunning combination of ultra moisturising oils with a perfect zingy citrus scent. Inspired by Korean skin rituals, the formula sinks in quickly and leaves skin glowing and hydrated. Get it for the scent and skincare lovers alike for £49 for 125ml. Quick tip: apply on damped skin for an ultimate spa-like experience. Available from Dermalogica, Feel Unique and Selfridges.

I could not include the hair care product of the year for me, Charlotte Mensah Menkatti Hair Oil* in this guide (my post here). Not only it's by far the best hair oil I've ever came across but you'd also support an indie Black female owned brand while you enjoy the benefits of an incredible formula. It won't weigh the hair down (even fine hair!) and will sort your dry and damaged locks in no time. Perfect gift to a hair loving bestie or a Mom and it's of course afro-hair friendly too. Grab it from Charlotte Mensah, Cult Beauty and SpaceNK.

Hand creams and cuticle oils make a cute Christmas pressies always, but especially in 2020 as we all can use a bit of hand and nail care since washing our hands every other minute. Apothaka SOS recovery Duo *partially gifted* will make for a beaitiful gift and the formulas will surprise even the most obsessed skincare lovers. A gorgoeus blend of nourishing oils will sort hands and nails in no time. Available now for £37.50

I don't know a single female in my life who doesn't dream of better lashes. NYK1 Secrets Lash Force Eyelash Growth Serum* is a superb choice and offers results in just a few weeks (read my review here). Loved by everyone who tried it, it can really makes a difference without irritating sensitive eyes. At £39.95 it's also cheaper that some alternatives. Available from NYK1 Secrets and Amazon.

Skincare makes for a great gift always. Give your loved ones the gift of glowing skin with the ultimate Pixi Glow Tonic*. It will make someone very happy for at least a year! Use on face, sure, but also on body to help relieve symptoms of strawberry skin, underarms if you suffer with pigmentation there and even scalp to help remove the build up. It's such a great multitasking product and fan favourite for years now. Available from Pixi, Cult Beauty, Look Fantastic and Marks & Spencers.

Tonic15 came through with a The Fifteen Favourites set*: Sioris Time is Running Out mist and Dr Ceuracle Cica regen Anti-Dust Sun Gel, duo of fan favourite K-Beauty products available now for less than £31 (from £41). It will make a perfect gift to any K-skincare lover or anyone who may never got on with usual heavy SPF formulas. Grab it for yourself, your friend, your daughter or your mom - I can guarantee they will love it.

It's turn for your makeup lovers out there and there's plenty to choose from. For a natural beauty no-makeup makeup fans the brand new Axiology Lip-to-Lid Balmies can be a brush-free they can fall in love with. Choose from a single shade or buy a set and get pretty shades without the guilt. These packaging-free makeup bits will steal a heart of any eco-consious beauty lover out there. Available from ASOS.

For the NARS fans out there, the limited edition bronzer Paradise Found Bronzing Powder (check out my post here) comes in the most stunning melted gold like packaging that hides away classic matte bronzer shade with a spray on glitter (don't worry you can dust it away). It should suit most from fair to medium/dark complexion, but won't work for deeper skin tones as it's a little too light for that. Totally worth £37 in my opinion and it would make for a beautiful Christmas present don't you think? Available from Cult BeautyLook Fantastic, NARS UK and SpaceNK.

Red lipstick lovers rejoiced when Patrick Ta makeup range became available on Cult Beauty. She's Not From Here is a beautiful rich matte orange red housed in the most stunning luxury packaging there is. The formula, packaging and everything in between makes it a fabulous gift for red lip obsessed women and men out there. Available here for £28.

Last but certainly not least, give a gift of eyeshadow. You know my love of a good palette and Urban Decay Christmas collection doesn't disappoint this year. Stoned Vibes palette* features a stunning selection of foils, marbles, mattes and duochromed, all housed in a crystal like packaging. It will make a perfect gift to any eyeshadow lover and both the formula and shade selection will not disappoint. Currently on offer for only £32.20 (from £46) at Urban Decay UK. Also available from Cult Beauty.
