LAST MINUTE CHRISTMAS 🎄

Last Minute Christmas

I plan and plan and usually, something happens and I end up buying everything at the very last minute. Anyone else? Don’t get me wrong, the thought process lasts forever as I hunt for perfect gifts but this year I took a step back and decided for an inspiration to hit me. Work’s been so busy I barely had any time to just sit down and breathe (thank god for my Breathe app on Apple Watch tho - I’m convinced it’s the only thing standing between me and heart attack!). A perfect gift can be found anywhere and doesn’t have to cost a small fortune either! I compiled a list of beauty goodies I’ll be gifting this Christmas. From Beauty Drama Queen to Dorota this Christmas. Fancy a read?

Nails to die for

Toxic free nail polish

I don’t know what it is about this time of year but I’m double obsessed with my nails lately. Lucky me as I’ve had so many new goodies to play around with lately! Kure Bazaar nail polishes* in Or Rose (cool rose gold metallic) and Amore (deep true red) offer healthier formulations and stunning opaque finish in simply a coat or two! They are so pigmented!! Love the packaging and both shades make a perfect Christmas mani!

Nail polish that lasts all week

One of the best formulas around can also be found in CND Vinylux Weekly Polish*. I was sent a couple of colours and it’s been a while since I’ve been so wowed by the lasting power of nail product! These easily last 5 days on me and if I ignore slight rubbing off the very tips, I could probably go double that. Winter Nights is a stunning deep blue, almost denim-like and muted & Cashmere Wrap is a gorgeous greige, matte, muted and almost quiet (yes it’s a stupid way to describe a colour, sue me lol!). Top Coat allows you to dry your polish in minutes. It's pretty brilliant!

Christmas nail sets

To top it all off I’ve picked up two gorgeous Sally Hansen Miracle Gel duos thanks to my Latest in Beauty Beauty Guru subscription! Shimmer Me Timbers is a gorgeous metallic white with pearlescent shimmer and Sleigh All Day (omg need to update my Insta bio...!) is a gorgeous champagne metallic. I’m wearing the latter now and it’s been 3 days with no chips so far, so I’ll have to update you on the lasting power later! Both come with a top coat ensuring the polish lasts as long as possible. Also available in Jingle Red Rock.

Deep cleansing madness

This DHC The Japanese Double Cleanse Set* arrived a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been obsessed! It consists of Deep Cleansing Oil, Mild Soap and Olive Virgin Oil Swabs. I’ve been a fan of Deep Cleansing Oil for a while thanks to a generous sample once gifted at an event and love how delicate and hydrating Mild Soap is (all thanks to Honey and Olive Oil!) and what makeup addict can’t appreciate the convenience of oil-soaked swabs (no more panda eyes!). It’s such a great set and comes at just below £20 so makes for an affordable present to any skincare enthusiast!

Bathtime serenity

A self-diagnosed bath addict couldn’t do a gift guide without at least one bath product, right? Beatitude Joy Bath Oil* has stolen my heart in the last few weeks I’ve used it! It’s sweet, zingy and just a pure joy (ha!) to use! I love the invigorating scent! Citrus scents make me happy and subsequently more relaxed so Joy has been a godsend! Available in a cute full-size gift packaging or as a mini in a Christmas Cracker*! Something to consider if you’re treating yourself or a friend!

A little sexy rose

My most loved perfume must be Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom. Yes, it’s pricey, but the scent and lasting power are worth every penny! It’s sweet and floral and such a beautiful combination it makes me always reach for it in the morning. I’m so glad I got the biggest bottle as I’ve already used a half! I could bathe in this! It will make such a gorgeous gift and I’d check out gifting at Boots where you can choose some other beauty bits to be packed beautifully for you! I adore it!

Mask away

I’ve been so tired recently I rarely mask anymore. I need to get back to the routine and I hope this lovely mini set from Clarins will do the trick! SOS Mask Essentials Kit offers three 15ml masks to try. I love them all but SOS Comfort must be my personal fave. It just does it all! Great little set to gift to any face mask addict and a perfect way to try all of the masks. All under £20 too!

And for a quick fix why not try the new Cadden & Lee London British Facial Sheet Masks (coming soon!)? I love supporting local brands and both Refreshing & Moisturising With Tea Tree mask and Rejuvenating & Moisturising With Lavender mask hit them boxes for me. I plan on using the latter on my dehydrated days and the Tea Tree extract in the first one will hopefully help around that time of the month when hormonal breakouts are a norm! How stunning is the packaging too?

Because you’re so sweet

What better way than gifting someone with yummy chocolates! I got this cute little Hotel Chocolat Christma Chocolates Mini selection from my girlfriend and it’s the sweetest thing ever! Packaging is ace and I can only imagine how yummy these four pralines will be! There’s no better gift than chocolate right?
