Best blurring primers for pore-less face!

Pores are normal. Pores are beautiful. We must normalise skin texture, but when it comes to makeup, there are ways to make your pores appear tighter and your base almost pore-less. Isn’t makeup amazing? Here are 4 pore-fecting primers worth your cash!

ELF Poreless Putty Primer | £8 for 21g

Rather thick in texture, the ELF Poreless Putty Primer has earned itself a bit of a cult following already and for good reason. It fills in pores nicely and makes for a smooth finish when the foundation is applied on top. Not overly mattifying, it works well on all skin types. Affordable and easily available, I can’t recommend it enough. Available from Boots, ELF UK, Feel Unique and Superdrug.

touchinSOL No Pore-blem Primer* | £14.50 for 30ml

Heavy-duty, pore filling primer from South Korean has been doing rounds on the Internet a few years ago. Who doesn’t remember that campaign with primer shown to fill in an orange skin? Still quite affordable but no longer as easily available as it once was, you can still find it in the UK if you’d like, and it’s actually a pretty amazing primer that works! Available from Beauty and Seoul.

Milk Makeup Luminous Blur Stick | £31 for 28g

A glow-boosting version of a cult Blur Stick fills in pores nicely and leaves skin with a healthy glow. Use under makeup or on its own if you want that smooth and luminous finish. Quite pricey, but it's been a fave of mine for a while. It’s not as heavy-duty as others, but still lovely and perfect even on dry skin! Available from Cult Beauty.

Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Blurring Primer* | £17-£32 for 25ml-50ml

The newest primer in my stash but already a love comes from Laura Mercier Pure Canvas range. It blurs pores, leaves skin hydrated and prepped for makeup. I’ve used it every day since I got it, and I may need to consider buying a full size! Lighter in texture than others, it should work on all skin types. Available from Boots, Cult Beauty, Feel Unique, Look Fantastic and Space NK.
