When it comes to luxury beauty one can list few brands which make such hyped up releases like Charlotte Tilbury. The MUA to the stars believes in creating unique beauty multi-taskers aiming to make you look and feel like a superstar. From ridiculously beautiful packaging through formulas that somehow work so well on most skin types and tones, she has built a company that continues to amaze in its luxurious simplicity. Today, I’d like to talk you through my most recent discovery, already infamous Hollywood Flawless Filter. There’s even a little giveaway at the end of this post that I think you’re going to LOVE!
Intro.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter comes in a stunning glass bottle with rose gold cap & large doe applicator. At first, I didn’t understand the choice to use doe applicator instead of a pump but having used the product now for over a month it became clear that this multitasker has been created with so many uses in mind, the applicator was well thought of. The product comes in 7 shades (from fair to dark), I choose the lightest of course and it’s a great match with its light champagne tones. It’s priced quite reasonably for the brand at £30 and given the usual little luxury touches the packaging is known for, it’s completely justified given the formula smashes it out of the park too!
Formula.
If you’ve always wanted a glowing primer but can’t deal with too ‘oily’ formulas, such as Becca Backlight Priming Filter - post here - you should really give this one a go. It’s light and not too creamy if applied sparingly (which I don’t do! Lol!) it will add the most glorious glow to any skin type. It sinks in instantly and creates a perfect canvas for the next steps.

Multitasking powers.
You can use it alone on no makeup days and it’ll blur away all imperfections. It’s quite miraculous in that aspect when it almost feels as if it has coverage. I love adding just a tiny amount of bb cream on top for almost wet skin look on the days when I’m pleased with my skin. Under a medium to full coverage foundation, it gives it a more lustrous finish without taking away from their lasting power.
I love applying it under makeup but it’s also fabulous at adding even more glow to your base if you apply it strategically on top of your makeup. It creates the non-obvious highlight, the most natural glow to the skin that lasts all day. Or you can use it as a highlighter primer to add intensity to the powder finish of the formula. Also applies well over the already powdered down skin. Told you it’s magic!
Final thoughts.
If you haven’t already clicked buy now on the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, I’m beyond surprised. I ordered mine the day it came out, but that’s a combination of hype, complete trust in Charlotte and my quite obvious shopping addiction.
