It's been nearly 2 weeks since I attended This Morning Live Show with Panasonic Beauty. It was a blast and if you follow me on Instagram, you've seen how much fun (and prosecco... oops!) we've had. After the facial at the hands of a beauty therapist, I was gifted Panasonic EH-XC10 3-in-1 Micro-Foaming Facial Cleansing Brush* which is the one tool you need to update your double cleansing routine.
Double cleansing: makeup removal
It's important to adjust your cleansing routine to your skin personal needs. I am a firm believer that every skin type needs an effective double cleansing regime. The first cleanse should be about makeup removal. Here, I recommend cleansing oils. Oils dissolve even waterproof makeup fast and also are proven to remove high SPF more thoroughly. Currently, I'm loving Superfacialist Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil (POST), Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Cleansing Oil and DHC Cleansing Oil*, all of which work brilliantly at removing makeup and are gentle enough to be used around the eyes without any discomfort or stinging. I apply a generous amount of oil and warm it a little in my hands before giving my face a massage. I remove eye makeup first, giving myself a sexy Panda look. I then pick up a warming tool of my Panasonic EH-XC10 3-in-1 Micro-Foaming Facial Cleansing Brush* on higher temperature setting and proceed with my massage. The feeling is super luxurious as the tool moves alongside my face and warms up the oil. You just have to take me by my word, but there's no feeling like it! I remove the remainder of oil and all the makeup with a cotton towel soaked in warm water.
Double cleansing: second cleanse
Second cleanse is about making sure all the makeup and SPF film is gone, your pores aren't blocked and your skin thoroughly cleansed. I adore the second step and rotate the products I use and love every 2-4 weeks. Usually it's a cleansing balm and I've been loving Burts Bees Deep Cleansing Balm lately. However, my new Panasonic EH-XC10 3-in-1 Micro-Foaming Facial Cleansing Brush* made me fell in love with foaming cleansers once more. I have been gifted some samples of Urban Veda Daily Reviving Facial Wash* during the event and I've been using it religiously in the morning as first cleanse or in the evening as a second cleanse. I pour a little of foaming cleanser into the brush (check out my step by step instructions below). I attach the soft brush to the device and pour a little luke-warm water into it. I set it on normal speed as I prefer it this way and go around the face in the circular motions. The brush is gentle enough to go around the eyes too! I was worried given how sensitive my eyes are but both the cleanser and the brush seems to be working well and I haven't experienced any discomfort! Ultra soft brush gives my skin very delicate wash and exfoliation and feels divine! I then remove the brush head and flush the brush with water to remove the remainder of the foaming cleanser, then attach the smaller and firmer head. I give my chin and around the nose a deeper cleanse and I find this to be helping with my hormonal spots around the chin and blackheads around the nose area.
Before & after care:
- After the initial charge, I've been using a brush for more than 10 days now and the battery is holding well. I wonder how long it'll hold in the end and I'll report on it later.
- Before use, I always soak both brush heads in hot water to ensure their clean.
- After use, I place both brush heads in the hot water and let them soak to ensure no bacteria has a chance of survival (LOL!)
My final thoughts
I really enjoyed using this brush and will continue to do so. My cleansing routine has always been good and I won't be replacing my balms with the brush completely, but I really enjoy using it and I think I'll mostly use it in the morning as I find that to be a great tool to wake up my skin and give it a good cleanse! I love using the warming plate part, I find the feeling so luxurious and relaxing. If you love your cleansing oils, I recommend you trying warming in up and giving yourself a face massage with it. It really is divine! Panasonic EH-XC10 3-in-1 Micro-Foaming Facial Cleansing Brush* is definitely a great tool for double cleansing. It's not only effective but also creates almost facial like experience at home. It's not the cheapest tool out there, given its £150.00 price point but I think it would make a great gift to any skincare enthusiast, be that a friend or to treat yourself. It makes double-cleansing fun! I'd recommend it to anyone who's unsure if their cleansing routine leaves their skin thoroughly cleansed. My skin is cleansed but not irritated or stripped of moisture so I highly recommend you try it! I'm tempted by the other device used on me during a facial at Panasonic Beauty and I'll most probably treat myself to Panasonic EH-XT20 3-in-1 Micro-Current Facial Enhancer once it goes on sale!

It's such a great tool! I may be using it for more than cleansing soon, I want to see if I can introduce it to my evening routine a little more x
DeleteThis does sound incredible and looks so pretty but I just wonder how long I would use it for before it's at the back of the cupboard...
ReplyDeleteI always ask myself that question with anything! Lol x
DeleteHave you experienced any "purging" with this? I hated the Clarisonic for that reason! xx

I have noticed some first week, however I was also coming on, so the temporary craziness around my chin could have been just that. Otherwise not much have changed other than instant glow when using it alongside warm plate x
DeleteGreat ! I want it <3

This sounds really good - I'd kind of forgotten about sonic face brushes - they were such a big thing a few years back!

I've never tried Clarisonic so I can't compare and as much as I love this soft brush, I love the warming plate more lol x
DeleteI love the fact that it is so gentle you can use it around the eyes! I would love to try it, I love when my skin feels extra clean! x

I was very sceptical at first but yes, tested around the eyes. I was shocked myself x
DeleteI think I will not buy this cleanser, but I will choose something from Remington, but this looks great :D
ReplyDeleteI've never seen any Remington Cleansing Brushes. You must tell me how you get on x
DeleteOooooo wow this sounds incredible! So So Nice! Shame about the high price tag :(

It's so expensive isn't it! The electro thing is even more but I want it!
DeleteThis sounds so good. Especially as mine is just a basic vibrating brush with detachable heads. This seems so much more simpler.

I do love the warming plate!
DeleteI'd love to try it but the price is a bit steep for me. I got the little Luna Play brush thing for my birthday, used it daily for a month and to be honest, apart from some spots (probably purging process) I didn't notice nay difference in my skin so I'm not sure if those brushes are really worth the money, especially as I regularly deeply exfoliate my skin with acids, hmm.. xx

I have been sceptical after using my Luna Play. However I noticed massive difference around my chin. I put my Luna away and used this for a while but I must admit, I love it for the warm plate - the feeling is amazing! I'd love to test the micro current device. I feel like that's something I'd like to venture in to x
DeleteThis sounds great, I generally use the Luna but sometimes I want something a little more powerful!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds fab! I have been thinking of trying a facial cleansing brush but unsure on what to get, there's so many on the market at the moment x
ReplyDeleteSounds really nice, I've never used a cleansing brush before xx
ReplyDeleteI have something similar which I really love. They are such great skincare tools.

I have to admit that there is not much that could drag me away from my Foreo x

ReplyDeleteI could really use one of these to up my skincare routine!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to try one of these facial cleansing brushes, this one sounds great!
