The new addition to Anastasia Beverly Hills palette range screams smokey eyes. There's no abundance of warm browns, pinks and reds to choose from. Last week I presented you with a simple glowing daytime look (click here), so this week I'm taking no prisoners. This look is warm and dark, sultry and sexy. Completed with neon coral red lips it screams festival summer party. I hope you'll enjoy :)

I set the base with Tempera (light matte beige). I started with outlining the fake crease above the hood of the eye (no hooded eyes - just define your crease) with Golden Ochre and blending it outwards slightly. I added Burnt Orange just below, deepening the effect of the "crease" (no hooded eye - just work the shade in the crease). For the outer corner I started with Realgar and blended it towards the high point of newly created crease and slightly above it. I also blended the shade towards the mid lid. I then took Red Ochre and repeated the steps. Lastly I mixed Red Ochre with Cyprus Umber and once again repeated the steps. Once I was happy with the depth created to the eye, I took Love Letter and placed it on mid lid and took it upwards towards the end of the fake crease on the hood. I went back in couple of times to create the needed intensity. I blended the colour inwards slightly. I then added Burnt Orange to help with blending the Love Letter in to the inner corner. On top of Burnt Orange, I placed some Primavera with my index finger. To create more intense inner corner, I wet the brush with some Fix+ and added Primavera wet only to the inner corner, creating the gradient effect of shimmer. I created a soft line using a black kohl on the outer corner and stopping mid lid, just to smoke out the lash line.
On the bottom lid, I blended Realgar on all the bottom lid, only leaving out the inner corner. I added some Cyprus Umber the the outer corner. I finished off the inner corner with Primavera applied wet. So Susan beige kohl highlighted the waterline perfectly.
I applied falsies and then applied one coat of mascara to mix my own lashes with fakes.

I love the finished look and I hope you enjoy it too. I really enjoy the warm smokey eye paired with almost neon coral lips. It's a perfect look for an evening out, or you can tone it down by skipping the false lashes and swapping for a nude lip. It's perfect paired with a healthy tan and lots of glow <3

As usual if you think of recreating this look don't forget to tag me and/or use my hashtag #idorottka on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, so I can see your lovely makeup <3
