Hello and welcome to the second post in February, how crazy is that? It feels like yesterday I was doing Blogmas. For those Wednesday blues I'm coming to you today with super simple and super pretty Valentines Day date night look using Anastasia Beverly Hills Self Made Palette :) I've done a lot of darker evening looks lately so it's time to get back to my comfort zone, lovely neutral eye with a bit of sparkle. It will be perfect for that special date night as you want to look lovely but not over do it :) Guys like us "naturally" pretty right? lol x I'm really pleased with how it turned out - hope you will like it as well :)

My favourite foundation at the moment is Collection Illuminating Touch Foundation so I used it to create a flawless, yet light, glowing base. I set it with combination of powders from my trusty and very well loved Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit. I bronzed up using the bronzer shade from the palette and same goes for blush - I just combined both shades and swiped it across my cheekbones.

With eye being so neutral and light, I wanted lips to stand out, so I used my new favourite red - Max Factor Marilyn Ruby Red. To prevent bleeding and smudging I used a transparent lip pencil from Lord & Berry.

I used Maybelline Color Tattoo in Creme de Rose as a base, I set it with powders from my Hourglass palette. Going into Self Made Palette, I first used Buttery all over the lid and started blending Hot Chocolate in the outer corners and going into the crease. I added the colour until I was satisfied with the depth. I then added Sherbert to help myself with blending just above the crease. On the lower lid, I used Sherbert all over with Hot Chocolate in the very outer corners. I then added some Pink Champagne on the inner corners as well as blending towards the middle on the upper lid. I finished the look with two coats of Max Factor Velvet Volume Mascara.
For brows I used my absolute favourite Freedom Brow Pomade in Taupe. It's such an amazing product and so budget friendly :)

That's it my lovelies. Super simple, yet effective date night look. It will suit any complexion and eye colour and could work nicely with both strong lip (as above) and a nude as well (for all the smooching you may be planning on lol). I hope you enjoyed my today's ramblings :) See you next time xx

Thank you for reading,

Dorota x
