New Years Eve Extravaganza - Glamour Smokey Eye Look feat. UD Naked Smoky

Hello Ladies :) Happy New Years Eve eve !! Yes it's a thing lol. I promised to show you the look I'll be wearing this NYE and I come with dark smokey eye proposition. I can't seem to stay away from Naked Smoky and have been using it throughout December. This time a little more cat eye and darker than I usually go for. Hope you'll like it :)

Base & Contour:

Collection Illuminating Foundation in Porcelain gives the perfect glow to my skin. Offering some coverage but without looking cakey, it's my favourite drugstore foundation at the moment. Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Contour palette is a drugstore contour dream for pale skinned. I've been testing it all December and so far so good - you can see how much I'm loving the contour shade ;) I used a two matte shades to concelar my under eye area and I also used the white highlight to accentuate high points of my face :)

Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien is a perfect nude shade, it gives enough colour and it's a perfect mix between nude and purple - gorgeous formula glides on and keeps lips moisturised - ready for that midnight kiss. Yes, lasting power is something else but having to re-apply is easy thanks to the shade and formula, you can do it blind lol

I tried to keep my brows more straight and only a little filled in with NYC Brow Pencil in Sable

I used matte highlight shade from MUR palette as a primer and applied some NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean to the outer corner blending it into the cat eye shape. After blending the pencil base I started playing with Naked Smoky. I concentrated on the outer corner building up Black Market on the cat eye shape created earlier. I wanted the look to be blended but with a visible cat eye effect and no eye liner. After I was happy with the intensity of the Black Market, I added Combust just above it and in the crease to help with blending and to create a more of a 3D effect. In the mid lid I blended out the black with a little Password to create a more smooth transition. To build up the colour I added Armor in the mid lid. It's such a pretty shade and it worked beautifully to transition from black. In the inner corner I added a mixture of High and Thirteen. I wasn't happy with the intensity of the highlight, so I grabbed my Zoeva enTaupe and applied Spun Pearl with my finger concentrating on the inner corners and adding a bit to the mid lid as well to blend it all together.

For the bottom lid I blended out Armor concentrating in the outer corner and blending it inwards. I then blended it out slightly from the below using a Combust shade. I added bit more of Spun Pearl  from Zoeva palette to inner corners to complete this look.

I used L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes So Couture to ensure my lashes are thick and oh so black and that completed my eye look. I skipped the falsies, as I rarely wear them, but of course you can use them to even further accentuate the darkness of the eye.

Here you have it the finished look. I really love it and I hope you'll like it too. As usual your critique is very important to me so don't be shy :) I hope you all have an amazing New Years Eve Party and welcome new year 2016 with open arms. I wish you all a very happy New Year, filled with love and laughter. See you in the New Year :)
Thank you for reading.
