Welcome to Blogmas part 3. This time I'm coming to you with my take on Christmas Day makeup. Gold smokey eye paired with red lip is now already a cult and a cliche, but I can't imagine Christmas without it. If you'd like to see how to create this super easy but very glamorous look, please read on :)

I primed my skin with Emite Makeup Diamond Heart Illuminating Base Primer and added a little of Benefit Puff Off under my eyes. I wanted to create a super glowing skin but also with a little stronger than usual coverage so I mixed L'Oreal Infallible Matte in Porcelain with a drop of NUDE oil to ensure the base sits nicely on my dry skin. Adding a little oil to a foundation is a great tip I've stolen shamelessly from Wayne Goss and I don't know how I've ever lived without it. For concealer I used my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection in 01.

I set my foundation  & concealer with Hourglass Diffused Light from Ambient Lighting Edit. I added Luminous Flush from the same palette to my cheeks and swiped A LOT of The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer across my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, cupid bow, chin and forehead. I wanted the base to glow without any harsh lines so I skipped the contour and bronzer.

I can't leave the house without my brows and lately I've been loving a combination of two products. I first brush my brows upwards and to set them I used a bit of Milani Brow Wax in Clear. i really enjoy this product as the formula is excellent and keeps my brows in place for a really long time and for ease of application. I love the fact you can use it directly from the pencil. I then filled my sparse bits with NYC Brow Pencil. I'm not sure which shade it is anymore as I can no longer read the writing on it. It's a really lovely dark ash blonde shade which is just perfect for me. I brushed off the excess and voila :)

For my lips I used Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Gladiolus. It's a beautiful warm tone red. I only wish formula of these was a little better as the gloss goes off really quickly and lipstick fades within an hour or 2 max. Nevertheless the shade it's what I imagine real Christmas lipstick shade should be so I wanted to use it in this look.

I primed my eyes with my now everyday primer - MAC Paint Pot in Painterly. I didn't set it with powder as I normally do, just used Tease from Urban Decay Naked 2 in the crease and above it as a transition shade. I then applied Half Baked all over the lid with a flat synthetic brush and a patting motion. I used Blackout to lightly line the eyelash line and in the outer corner. I then smudged the line and blended out the colour with Snakebite. I added Chopper on the middle of the lid. For my lover lid I used Tease all over with a little Booty Call in the inner corner.

I wanted my lids to shine so I mixed Makeup Revolution Eye Foil in Rose Gold with Inglot Duraline and applied it on the middle of the lid. I kept on adding it to create a mirror like effect. I finished the eyes with two coats of L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes So Couture.

Super easy, yet very glamorous look for Christmas that won't take you more than 20 minutes is ready. I hope you like it <3 I have been obsessing with golden lids again so expect more to come <3 If you like my little blog don't forget to subscribe - all the links below <3
