CORALS & REDS - MY FAVOURITE SUMMER LIPSTICKS

There's no better shade to represent summer than coral. I personally don't like pale corals on my skin tone but vibrant oranges, corals and reds are my favourite shades to wear during the summer months. I choose for you few of my favourites, some old and some new, to brighten your moods, even if it's actually pretty gloomy outside :)

Zoeva Creamy Lipstick in Melting Kisses (RPR £9.50) is the lightest coral in my collection. It has a lovely creamy formula that keeps the lips hydrated. It lasts around 3-4 hours on me with light food and drinks. The pigment is quite strong and it stays on the lips for few more hours if not topped up. The formula is super pigmented and it glides on the lips. I really enjoy using it, if I don't fancy my usual matte lips. This is first Zoeva lipstick in my collection and it won't be the last. If you'd like to see it in action check out my post HERE.

Wet & Wild Lipstick in What's Up Doc (est. RPR £2) is a stunning medium coral red with the finish similar to MAC Amplified. The formula is creamy and pigmented and easy on the lips. It stays put for 2-4 hours but I experienced some drying after over 4 hours wear. It looks gorgeous as a daytime statement lip and it's almost neon shade will guarantee to give you some attention. I've been gifted it by my lovely friend from Poland as Wet & Wild isn't available in UK.

MUA Luxe Liquid Lips in Zest (RPR £3.00) is a tone deeper than Wet & Wild with less orange tones. It's a gorgeous neon coral red with a matte finish. Super pigmented and lasts well on the lips. I've been wearing it a lot and it even landed it a place in my July favourites. If you'd like to know what else I loved, check out my post HERE. I like the scent and the formula. It's not drying and quite comfortable to wear, considering it's super matte and in liquid formula.

Esteé Lauder Pure Colour Envy Matte Sculpting Lipstick in Kendall shade (RPR £26.00) is the most expensive one of the bunch. Formula isn't as creamy as others and it's more difficult to apply to the lip. I recommend using a lip brush to clean up the lip line. It's a stunner with the pure matte finish. True orange red with enough orange tones to give it a gorgeous summer style, but not too much for it to overpower the red.  It looks amazing applied and lasts for hours and hours, almost 8, if you're not planning on eating too heavily. It's a great evening colour, however I adore it as a statement lip for daytime. It was a limited edition shade and isn't available anymore, but I couldn't skip it, when showing my summer faves.
