Believe it or not, when I first looked at the gorgeous Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance, all I could imagine was intense and dramatic eyes. Yet, as I sat down to do my makeup on a warm sunny day, I could not very well walk around with full face on. This summery soft daytime look was created and I can't tell you how many times I recreated it since. There's no false lashes here. I kept everything bare and glowing with soft eyes, glowing skin and just a touch of colour with peachy lips. If you like what you're seeing, let me tell you what I used to create this simple, yet gorgeous look.
L'Oréal Lumi Magique Cushion Foundation in 01
Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer in Ivory
Hourglass Ambient Edit Palette (to set the makeup with, for blush, bronzer and highlight)
Eyes & Brows:
MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette
L'Oréal Sculpt Mascara
Anastasia Bevery Hills Brow Pomade in Taupe
Zoeva Lipstick in Melting Kisses
I set my primer with Tempera. I started to create a dimension to the lid, by placing Golden Ochre just above the crease. To items off the fake crease I added a mix of Raw Sienna and Burnt Orange. To add depth, I blended some Warm Taupe in the outer corners. I placed Primavera on the whole lid and highlighted the inner corners with Vermeer. For the bottom lid I blended Raw Sienna and Burnt Orange. I added a touch of Warm taupe on the outer corners and mix of Primavera and Vermeer on the inner corners. I finished the eyes with two coats of mascara.
I hope you enjoy this simple summer look. You can pair this eye with any lip colour but I went for peach as it's such a summery shade. Plus I wanted to play with my new Zoeva Lipstick ;). I think it's a perfect every day choice. Makeup a'la no makeup, with the glowing skin, little bronzer to intensify delicate tan and soft eyes. What do you think lovelies?
