SHOP MY STASH - COLLABORATION WITH LUCE LUXE LIFESTYLE

I wanted to collab with the gorgeous Lauren for a really long time. We've met through Instagram nearly two years ago & recently finally managed to meet IRL at Makeup Revolution 2nd Birthday Party. Now, millions of What's App messages later we are bringing you our ongoing collaboration. #ShopMyStash has been quite popular recently. Spring is a perfect time of the year to clean up your vanity & re-discover gems hidden inside it. Both myself and Lauren managed to accumulate pretty impressive makeup collections and sadly, we don't get to use it all as much, as we would like to. In these posts, we are bringing you our first picks, products we've forgotten about, but definitely worth falling in love with again. We will be back every couple of weeks, updating you on the progress & swapping some for other forgotten gems.

Lauren is a lovely girl behind Luce Luxe Lifestyle blog. If you haven't already, make sure you check her out on her various social media: Instagram, Twitter, Bloglovin' & Facebook.

I recently went through my vanity & picked up so many products I used to love & forgotten about in the masses of new products I review for the blog. I put these in few categories & I'll keep you updated on my progress with them in couple of weeks :) Some of these I've hit pan on already, so it's all about trying to finish them up.

Base:

I have few foundations I need to start using up and my first contender is Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream. It used to be my favourite base but I've forgotten about it a little & would like to finish it up, as it's a really great base for dry skin. The only issue is with the shade itself, but I will lighten it up with some lightening drops.
I can't say, I've ever gotten on well with Sleek Corrector & Concealer Palette, but I've used it religiously in the past and highlighting shade is just gorgeous so I plan to try & hit a pan with this one. It's not the best coverage or formula in the world but in combination with the second concealer Collection Lasting Perfection my coverage needs should be met well. I have only little of it left now and it works great under eyes or as to prime my lids before eyeshadow so it's a perfect time to finally put it to rest :) To set it all in place, I plan on using ELF Undereye Setting Powder, as I enjoy baking a lot and it's a perfect powder for it.
When I first got Lancome Poudre Majeure Excellence I loved and used it every day. It's really finely milled and perfect for touch-ups during the day. There isn't much left so I plan to use it all up in the next few weeks :)

Cheeks:

It comes as no surprise that I love to contour, blush and highlight & some products aren't getting the attention anymore so I decided to use some of them up. Starting with bronzer, I love Vita Liberate Trystal Minerals Self Tanning Bronzing Minerals in Sunkissed. It's a gorgeous golden shade, perfect for adding that sun kissed look to my complexion. To contour and highlight I decided to give my Sleek Face Form in Fair another go. It has a fairly neutral contour shade, not something I usually go for these days, but I really like the champagne highlight shade so I'll give this trio a run for its money. It also have a lovely rose gold blusher but I plan to finally hit pan on my Estee Lauder Signature Silky Powder Blush in Peach Nuance. It's a gorgeous coral/peach shade, perfect for daytime. And for days I want more glowing finish I plan to give some loving to my all time favourite Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart. I used to adore this blush so much and I want to see if I can still enjoy using it as I used to :)

Eyes & Brows:

On the designer palette front, my Naked palettes aren't definitely ones, I tend to go for on a daily basis. I decided to pick up Urban Decay Naked 2 a little more in the next few weeks. It's perfect neutral palette, but it's missing matte shade variety, which is probably why I don't use it a lot. It gorgeous though so it's time to change that :)
As a primer I will be using Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme de Rose exclusively. It's one of the products I used when testing it but then put away as I tend to go for MAC Painterly instead. No more MAC, Color Tattoo is getting its chance to wow me now :) I also remembered about the good old times when I dreamed of ABH Brow pomade and got Color Tattoo in Taupe instead. Oh how I loved it. It's a lovely cool shade and works great against my natural brow colour. I will be picking it up again to remind myself why I loved it so much before :)
I have been using a lot more liner lately but opting for gel more, so Maybelline Master Graphic Liquid Liner has been sitting there forgotten. I used to love doing a quick flick with this one and it's probably a time to use it up before it dries out.
For my mascara needs I plan to use up Clinique High Impact Mascara as it's definitely on it's way now and I quite like it for daytime.

Lips:

I couldn't live myself without many lip options even if I'm shopping my stash, so I picked up few I should definitely show some loving. I plan to re-discover the love I had for Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Matte in Restless aka Kendal shade. I adored it last year, but haven't worn it since last summer so it's definitely a time to give it as much time as it truly deserves.
I bought Giambattista Valli for MAC Lipstick in Tats when it launched, swatched it and put away. It was never on my lips until only just last week when I showed it to you on Snapchat (search i.dorottka) and you guys loved it !! Never before have I gotten so many questions as when I wore it. It's a gorgeous true pink shade, not neon and not muted either, gorgeous. I am looking forward to wearing it a lot more now :)
When I first heard of Essence Lipliner I bought them all (well with few exceptions) but I rarely use them anymore so I decided I will try and use them instead my usual MAC or Rimmel liners. I am looking forward to it as formula is super creamy and comfy to wear & the colours Satin Mauve, Soft Berry, Femme Fatale, Cute Pink and Wish Me Rose already a cult shades.

Here you have it, shop my stash part 1. What do you think? Have I made the right choices? Are you looking forward to seeing if I can keep up with my word and try to use up at least some of the above mentioned products? I have many new products that I am testing now so I'll have new posts for your as usual but for my daily makeup I will do my best and try only to use all of the above to see if there's any way I can finally put some of them to rest :)

Don't forget to check out Lauren's post (CLICK HERE NOW) & see what she plans to re-discover in the upcoming weeks. I can't wait to give it a read :) If you stop by, don't forget to say hello and leave a comment, it means a world to us. :)

  1. I agree about lip liners. I always bloody forget to use them. It drives me mad that I have so many and they just sit there looking at me and hoping that I get around to using them at some point.

Love your post. I'm especially looking forward to seeing you try and use your Naked 2. Those things are notorious for being so hard to finish haha.
