MAKEUP REVOLUTION WEEK #4: EVENING GLAMOUR FEAT. SALTED CARAMEL & ROSE GOLD LIPSTICK

Time to commence Day 4 of my Makeup Revolution Week :) As you read this post, I'm currently on my way to London to later on join Makeup Revolution team & other bloggers in celebration of the 2nd Birthday of the brand. I will be live on Snapchat throughout the evening to share with you the live action from the event, don't forget to follow me, not to miss out :) Just search: i.dorottka <3

Today I wanted to share with you a look I created using a Salted Caramel palette from I <3 Chocolate range. I wanted to create a look that's full on glamour and I think it works for a night out or an event :) I hope you enjoy !!!

EYES:

When it comes to full on eye looks I always start with eyes. It just means the fallout, if there's any, is just easier to clean up. I started as usual with priming my base. Today I'm using Makeup Revolution I Makeup Eye Primer in Matte. This was my first time using this primer and my eye look lasted full 10 hours so I'm super impressed. I then set the primer with matte beige shade from Salted Caramel palette in Delicious. For my transition shade (in and above crease) I used Heavenly which is a lovely muted salmon shade. I went in with the shade few times to create a fake crease just above my natural one, as I have hooded eyes.
I wanted this look to be warm toned so I then continued with Sweet, warm camel toned shade in the fake crease and outer corner, slowly building the shade up. I then used a mix of Drizzle and Candy in the outer corners and blended it in to the crease to create a 3d effect. I added a bit of Tempt (matte black) to deepen the outer corners and again blended it in the crease. I went back with Sweet to warm it up and then Heavenly to blend out all the shades.
For my lower lid I started with Tempt and blended it from outer corner for 1/3 of the lid. I then blended it out with Sweet and Heavenly again, leaving the lower lid inner corner. I added Delicious there as I wanted my inner corner to stay matte, but highlighted.
For my mid upper lid I wanted shine. I mixed Inglot Duraline (one drop) with Makeup Revolution Eye Foil in Copper and applied with flat synthetic brush to mid lid, blending it inwards. It's such a beautiful shade and it complimented the look beautifully. Adding Duraline also extends the wear time as well as making application super easy, so I highly recommend it.
Look like this deserves a liner. I used Maybelline Gel Liner in Noir Black to create the line, very thin one from inner corner to mid lid and extending in nice flick in the outer corner. I finished the look by applying some of my trusty Max Factor Velvet Volume mascara and Tanya Burr Everyday Flutter Lashes to compliment this glamour look.

FACE:

For my base I used new formula of Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in O1. I then added some Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer for my under eyes and set it with powder from my new Makeup Revolution Duo Face Sculpt (review here). It's really great for setting makeup :) I gave my chubby cheeks some definition using a bronzer shade from the same palette and finished with some Makeup Revolution Matte Blush in Belowed (review here). It's such a pretty coral shade, it compliments warm eye makeup well.
Glamour look means highlight and then some, so I used my Pro Illuminate to highlight the top of my cheekbones, cupid bow and nose :) It's such a beautiful shade, I love it. For review click here

LIPS & BROWS:

I wanted to keep my lips nude and used new favourite Rose Gold Lipstick in Chauffeur (review here).
For brows I used my trusty Freedom Brow Pomade in Taupe (review here). How did I live without it before? It's awesome !

I hope you enjoy the finished look. I really like it. Adding eye foil is always a great idea if you want to achieve real wet effect on the lid without worrying about it smudging :) I used my absolute faves from Makeup Revolution and only few other brands for base. It just proves you don't have to spend a fortune to look glam, it's what Makeup Revolution is for !! I'm now off to London to enjoy my little adventure, don't forget to check my Snapchat throughout the day for live updates.

Thank you for reading,
Love

    1. I have very fair eyes and warm tones should bring out your eye colour nicely :) Try starting easy with some camel shades. Believe me in no time you'll be rocking reddish shades :) xx
