Beauty Favourites December 2015 & the award goes to...

Happy New Year !!! I can't believe 2015 is behind us and we're already on the 4th day of new year !!! Time flies. Hope you all had an amazing New Years Eve & partied all night long. I had a lot of fun celebrating the end of 2015 and I am looking forward to 2016. Today I come to you with my favourite bits from December so if you'd like to know what I've been loving recently, here they are :)

Urban Decay Naked Smoky (RPR £38.00)

If you follow my blog and checked out my makeup posts in the last month this should come as no surprise. I have been loving this palette so much and it's slowly becoming the best Naked palette to date. I didn't think I was going to enjoy it this much, as I worried the colour scheme just wasn't me. Happy to say, I was wrong and I can see me & Naked Smoky stay together for a while now :)

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit (RPR £65.00)

Yet again, this is not a surprise. This is love from the first application. I absolutely adore all the powders in the palette, I'm even getting on with the bronzer (shocking I know lol). I did a full on review so if you'd like to know more and see swatches check it out here. I am in love in the setting powders in this palette and if I use any setting powder lately - it's this one. I love mixing both blusher shades on a daily basis as well as a subtle highlight. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Worth every penny !!!

Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Contour (RPR £8.00)

3rd and a last palette in this month favourite is more budget friendly I only use 2-3 shades from it. So these three shades being my favourites. Pale matte & pale shimmer highlight as well as cool toned contour shades are just incredible and I use it daily now !!! I am planning on doing a full on review but it demo deserves a mention in the favourites as I've been using it pretty much every day !! Love at a budget friendly price point - YAY !!!

Freedom Brow Pomade in Taupe (RPR £5.00)

Another budget friendly option in the favourites and it's a brow product. Love the formula and the shade. I've been using Blonde more before but December show me changing my blonde ombre to more of pink/purple tones and I think Taupe suits it much better. This is one product you should definitely try, if you want to know more, check out my previous review here.

Freedom Pro Glow in Roar (RPR £3.50)

Yay to Freedom for earning two places in my monthly favourites. This time it's a satin finish contouring bronzer. I never thought this will suit me as when swatched it comes out pretty dark but thanks to it being cool toned it makes chiseling my cheeks so easy!! It's not a daily shade for me but for going out? Yes please - it may be replacing even my trusty loving Bahama Mama. It's super cheap and I highly recommend you trying it.

Barry M Dazzle Dust in 39 (RPR £4.59)

I've been into pigments and loose eyeshadows lately and I have to say Barry M doesn't disappoint. It's been recommended to me by my lovely friend Dominika (you can follow her on Instagram if you wish). And I really like it. Light bronze gold with micro glitter has been perfect for the party season and I enjoyed adding a little sparkle to my daytime looks !! It's also really cheap and comes with so many shades - worth checking out on your next trip to Boots :)

Rimmel London Provocalips in Kiss Me You Fool (RPR £6.99)

Last but not least my favourite December lip colour award goes to Rimmel. Superb lasting power. Eat, drink, kiss and repeat and this stays on. Remove with oil based product as it will probably stay on overnight too lol. I really like the formula for that, it does however dry your lips badly so prep is necessarily and a lot of lip balm before and afterwards. Nevertheless it's a true Christmas red shade and I wore it on Christmas Eve as well as pretty much every other day in December.

Here you have it. Last favourites of 2015. December has been a really fun month for me. It was all about seeing friends, going out and makeup :) I was really into contouring this month (hence 3 contouring products on the list), red lips and pigments. I am truly blessed to have spent the last month of 2015 surrounded by loved ones and I hope you did too. I have many surprises in store for you in 2016 and I'm very excited to share them with you. Here's to the great new year, may we all be blessed with perfect wing every morning lol ;) Happy New Year <3

Thank you for reading.
Love,

Dorota x
