Unbox with me: LIPSTICK TO LASHES - GLOSSYBOX NOVEMBER 2015

Hello beauties :) Happy Thursday to you all. I hope the weather's nice enough wherever you are, I'm off to do some holiday break shopping in anticipation of my next week's travel. I'm going to visit a friend by the seaside and I really can't wait for this break from work:) Enough mentions about work. It's nearly the weekend:)

Today I'd like to share with you the pretty awesome edition of Glossybox. For you who don't know it, it's a subscription box available in UK as well as other countries, bringing us samples/full size beauty treats monthly for only £10.00 PLUS P&P. Check them out here if you're interested.

This month's box features 4 full size & 1 travel size products. Theme of the month is Lipstick to Lashes and it suits the box very well. It's mainly makeup related which makes me very happy :) Standard light pink box is definitely my favourite from Glossy. It's great quality and I love it for storage. Don't get me wrong, limited editions are pretty, but as a person with a slight OCD, I like my bits to match lol. As usual beautifully packaged with a pink packing paper and a black ribbon, I can't fault their packaging, as it's at its best ! Let's see what's inside, shall we?

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry (full size RPR £7.99)

Few weeks ago I received an email from Glossybox team asking me to choose a lip colour for my November box. I think it's a great idea and there was plenty to choose from. From 5 available shades I opted for Black Cherry. I love autumn lip colour and this shade is stunning as you can see from both hand and lip swatches. I also paired with with a full on strobing look and a daytime smoky eye in brown/purple tones. Pigmentation is great and lipstick sits comfortably on the lips. It has a satin finish and stays put for up to 4 hours (depending on how much you like to snack and drink lol). I am really happy with the way it was advertised and that I could choose my own shade. Black Cherry sits well with my other autumnal lip choices and I have a feeling I will be wearing it a lot :)

MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Undressed (full size RPR £4.00)

MUA is a great and affordable makeup brand. Their eyeshadow palettes have pretty good pigmentation and last well on the lid, given you prime it well with a good quality primer. I already own Undressed so it goes in to a future giveaway pot. Make sure you subscribe to my blog and find me on Instagram not to miss out :) Undressed is a near to perfect dupe of Naked 1 palette by Urban Decay and it's easy to work with. Great add on to the box.

Emite Diamond Heart Primer (full size 15ml £25.90)

Love it !!! I like the brand Emite as I had a chance to test one of their blushes recently through Glossybox. Primer isn't exception. It has peachy tone which works great to balance skin tone, covers redness (yay) and boost radiance. I currently use Laura Mercier Primer and mix it with liquid highlighter. With Diamond Heart Primer I don't have to anymore. It boosts radiance and skin looks beautiful after application. You can see a little from the hand swatch :). As my current primer is on its way (I'll miss you!!!) I'm super happy I have something to replace it with. It gives of focus to the skin, smoothing wrinkles and imperfection as well as providing illumination that's to die for. You can use it under and over foundation (instead of highlight) and it works well as both. It's free from paragons, mineral oils, made from vegetable produce and not tested on animals. I'm super excited to start using it !!

Eylure Naturalites Natural Volume Lashes (full size £5.00)

I'm not the biggest fan of falsies. i apply them on friends I do makeup on but I'm definitely not the master when it comes to application on myself. I use them occasionally for a big night out or to finish up the makeup look, but that's not a daily thing for me. I still think it's great to get a pair in the box as it goes well with the theme and other products included. Eylure is a well known and loved brand so great add on to the awesome box.

Royal Apothic Body Lotion (travel size 35g, full size RPR £14.50)

I don't like body lotions. I must have mentioned this so often already. I am way too lazy and busy at the same time to have time for body lotion application. I find it messy as well which doesn't hep with the OCD I mentioned ;). I prefer sprays to lotions and I use Vaseline one twice a day :). However I rarely take my sprays with me when I go away as they take up a lot of space. Royal Apothic is a brand known to me and I really like their luxury products so I'm happy to give this one a go, especially as I'm planning what to pack for my mini seaside break next week (in UK, before you start congratulate me on ability to catch on some rays lol)

To sum up, I REALLY LOVE THIS MONTH BOX !!! I think the selection is excellent and even though I already own a palette and I'm not a huge fan of body lotions, I still think the rest of products make it up to me :) I think me and the base primer will have a little love affair. Look out favourites - Emite is coming for you :) I adore the lipstick shade, I only wore it once and pigged out on dinner so I can't say too much on the lasting quality but I love how confutable it feels on my lips plus the colour is just so perfect :) I'm happy Glossybox has exceeded expectations as Birchbox wasn't the greatest this month (READ IT HERE).

What do you think ladies? What's your opinion on this months box? Are you in love as I am, or just meh on the selection. Please let me know your thoughts :)

Thank you for reading.
Love,

Dorota x
