My birthday makeup using Urban Decay Naked 3

Last week saw me celebrating my big 30th birthday. As I am still recovering post my recent operation I spent this time with my closest friends and a family. It was one of the best birthdays I've ever, had even though I wasn't out clubbing 3 days in a row :)

I thought I will share with you the look I created and wore for my birthday BBQ with friends. It is not typical evening look as you can certainly pull it off during a day, but I hope you like it :)

Firstly my skin is now looking so much better thanks to some new skincare I've been testing out (shhhh review is coming) so I only used some concealer in the places I needed it too and altos highlight my face a little bit :) I used Freedom's Correct and Conceal in Light palette by mixing and matching nearly all the shades. I then added a little colour to my cheeks using Bourjois Aqua Blush in Pink Twice. This is the most long wearing cream blusher I won and the colour is just gorgeous :)

I started my eyes by priming them with Urban Decay original primer then dusted Strange all over my lid up to a brow bone. I like Strange. It's matte, beige, I only wish it was a little more pigmented. In my crease I started with limit as my transition shade and added Nooner for some definition. My outer corner smokiness is all Blackheart. It's such a gorgeous shade, Nearly black with purple shimmer. I have experienced a LOT of fallout with this one so I would suggest dusting a lot of powder for your under eye to remove the fallout when you're done with blending. I added colour multiple tie and blended it all out to receive the smokiness I wanted. As a mid lid transition I added a little Trick and Liar mixed together. I repeated the steps on my lower lid but concentrated most on the upper lid.

I finished off my look by brushing some I Tint My Brows in Fairest through my Brows. If you don't know it yet, I've been raving about this tiny brow mascara forever now. It's by Makeup Revolution, It's really cheap and great at taming your brows and giving them just a little tint. I added two coats of Maybelline Falsies to my lashes and the look was nearly done.

For my lips I choose to opt for something extremely long wearing as I was attending a BBQ so lots of eating and drinking were to take place. I chose Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Nude-ist to complete my look.

I hope you like the look I wore celebrating my birthday. As usual I would love to know what you think, so sound off in the comments below.

Thank you for reading.
Love,

Dorota x
